This set of pictures was taken over a period of a few days. It started Labor Day after the remains of Ernesto had visited us. You can see how things cleared as the week went by.

Late Monday afternoon the skies were still filled with clouds. We drove by Bond's dock and saw this barge. This crane was used on either the Devon Bridge work or the Sikorski Bridge project. It is waitng to be sent to its next job.

By mid-Tuesday morning the skies had brightened but the clouds were still thick. I thought the barge would be moving but it was still moored here.

Now its Thursday afternoon and the barge hasn't moved. Does anyone need this crane? The sun is out and its a wonderful day! Even this flock of pigeons came by to check it out.

The wild life is back and a sense of calm is restored. In that dark clearing a baby was hidden, too shy to be photographed!

The serenity of the river has been restored.
